des\u00a0Klosters Hersfeld\u00a0erw\u00e4hnt. Von diesem erhielten die Herren von\u00a0Hagen-M\u00fcnzenberg\u00a0die Vogtei Laubach zum Lehen.<\/p>\n<p>Eine Burg mit rundem\u00a0Bergfried\u00a0(Pforten- bzw. Uhrturm) ist im 13. Jahrhundert in die Ortsbefestigung integriert.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahre 1255 traten infolge der\u00a0M\u00fcnzenberger Erbschaft\u00a0die\u00a0Herren von Hanau\u00a0an die Stelle der M\u00fcnzenberger, gefolgt von den Grafen von\u00a0Falkenstein.<\/p>\n<p>Diese kauften die Burg und begannen im Jahre 1341 mit dem Bau von starken Befestigungsanlagen, deren Vollendung aber erst im Jahre 1559 m\u00f6glich war.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahre 1418 kam die Burg an die Grafen von\u00a0Solms.<\/p>\n<p>Der weitl\u00e4ufige Schlosspark l\u00e4dt bei sch\u00f6nem Wetter zum verweilen ein.\u00a0 Oder man genie\u00dft eine Tasse Kaffee im Biergarten, der im malerischen kleinen Schlosshof gelegen ist.<\/p>\n<p>Im Fr\u00fchjahr, Sommer und Herbst ist der Schlosspark Schauplatz unterschiedlichster Veranstaltungen.<\/p>\n<p>Dazu z\u00e4hlen die Garten- und Landhaustage \u201eLa Villa Cotta\u201c, das traditionelle Laubacher \u201eLichterfest\u201c, das Bluesfestival \u201eBlues, Schmus &amp; Apfelmus\u201c und das \u201eMittelalterliche Spektakulum\u201c.
